Around The Common 5K and Fun Run

The race starts from Broughton Gifford Scout Hut and consists of three or so, flat fast laps around the edge of Broughton Gifford Common along the boundary road and footpaths.

Prizes will be awarded to the first three male & female finishers & age category awards to the first Veteran (V40) & Super-Vet (V50) as well as to the first Scout to finish.

There will also be a Family Fun Run of approxiamatley 1K.

Broughton Gifford & Holt Scouts will be firing up the BBQ to provide some post-run nutritional replenishment!

The Foxtot 5 (five mile road race)

The race starts at Broughton Gifford Common and consists of a one lap course on country lanes around the villages of Broughton Gifford, Great Chalfield and Little Chalfield and finishes at the village hall, next to The Fox public house in The Street.

Prizes will be awarded to the following:

• First 3 men
• First 3 ladies
• First 3 Juniors Boys/Girls
• First 3 in each category of M40, M50 & M60
• First 3 in each category of F35, F45 & F55
• First man over 70
• First lady over 60 and
• First team of 4 runners

A special cash prize of £50 will be awarded to the first runner to set a new course record.
